| We’ve been working on
adding several new features to
the Scheduling
Manager. During the past
months, we’ve added some
new reports and new features,
and have optimised certain features
to make them more smooth and efficient. |

| Monthly
Job Calendar |
| We have combined
many of the features
previously available
on the various job
calendar screens,
including: |
| • One Team
One Week View |
| • All teams
One Week View |
| • All Teams
(With Colours) |
| into our new Monthly
Job Calendar. This
screen lets you see
a summary of all your
jobs for the month,
with each job being
colour-coded to represent
the team (or employee)
who’s assigned
to the job. |

| There are three views available: |
| • Monthly View |
| • Two-week View |
| • One Week View |
| The One week view is similar
to what we previously called “All
Teams With Colours”. We
are now thinking of offering only
this new Monthly Job Calendar,
because you can still get the
old view (the one week view) if
you want, simply by changing the
selection from the drop-down box
(see bellow): |

| In addition, you can also choose
to view just one team’s
jobs at a time, a feature some
of you had requested. See example
below: |

| Power Search Facility |
| We decided to add a convenient
power search utility to the main
screen. You can use this utility
to search for customers and/or
employees in any of the files
in the program. |

| In addition, you can choose
whether to go to the employee
screen or the Monthly Job Calendar,
once you have found the customer
or employee you’re looking
for. For example, Ms Jones calls
up and wants to know the date
of her next job. Click the power
search button, and enter Atwood
in the Search box, as shown below: |

| Make sure the “Go to Monthly
Job Calendar” option is
selected,. When her record shows
up (see example below): |

| You simply double-click her
name and you are taken directly
to the Monthly Job Calendar, where
all Ms Atwood's jobs are shown.

| Improved Job Add Utility |
| The Job Add utility has been
extensively re-worked. Some of
the new features include: |
| • Improved efficiency
– the process of adding
new jobs is now much faster than
before. |
| • Two or more people can
now add jobs at the same time
(if you have a network version
of the Scheduling
Manager). Previously, only
one user could add jobs at a time.
Now you can have several people
in your office all adding jobs
simultaneously, making your office
more efficient! |

| Locations Browse Feature |
You can now browse through
all customers’ work locations
by using the new “Browse
Locations” feature. You
can also search for any location,
the same way you can search
for customers. This is especially
useful for those users who service
multiple locations for each
client. (We have some users
who do a lot of work for real
estate agents or do a lot of
move-in cleans for housing companies.
This feature now makes it much
easier to find a location record
quickly.)
The Locations Browse Utility
lets you browse locations, and
see all jobs scheduled for each
location with one or two clicks.
You can also add jobs for any
particular location, in the
same way you can add jobs for
any particular customer. |

| Credit Card Processing
Module |

| We have teamed up
with X-Charge Software
to provide you a seamless
interface to allow
you to process your
credit card payments
quickly. Simply record
payments from customers
as “Credit Card”
payments, and at the
end of the day, you
simply click the “Process
Credit Cards”
button, and all your
credit card charges
are settled within
a matter of minutes. |

Users who have tried this
feature report that it saves
them a lot of time. One user
was running through credit card
charges once a week, one by
one on one of those credit card
terminals. It was taking her
four or five hours each week
to process all the charges.
Now, she processes all her charges
within minutes.
Also, users are finding that
the amount they pay in commissions
is substantially reduced from
their previous credit card processors.
One user has calculated they
will be saving over $1,000.00
a year using our system!

| Caller ID Module |
| We have now integrated our Caller
ID technology into the Scheduling
Manager. When the phone
rings, a screen pops up showing
you the caller’s phone number,
and their name (if you have extended
caller ID service). If that person’s
phone number is entered in your
database, you can click a button
which takes you directly to the
customer’s Information Detail
Screen.

| In addition to providing the
convenient pop-up feature, the
Caller ID hardware device also
records outgoing calls. A convenient
report lets you see what calls
were made by your staff each day,
and records a list of all incoming
calls. This is an invaluable management
tool!
Note: There is an additional
charge for the Caller ID Module.
You need to purchase some software
and a special hardware device
which interfaces with the phone
system and your computer. We
have versions available for
2, 4 or 8 lines.

| New “Jobs Tab”
on the Customer Information Screen |
| We have added a new tab on the
customer information screen, called
the “Jobs Tab”. Click
on this tab and you’ll instantly
see a list of all jobs scheduled
for the customer. See example
below: |

| New Online Version of
the Scheduling
Manager |
| We now have an add-on web-enabled
program that allows your customers
and employees to see their job
data on the internet, from wherever
they may be located!
Some users are now using this
web version of Scheduling
Manager exclusively,
while others continue to use
the stand-alone version in conjunction
with the web version. All you
need to so is upload your data
to the web site periodically,
and your customers and select
employees can log on and see
their jobs.
